Workshops

Not only does the North Portland Tool Library have tools, we also sponsor hands-on workshops to help you learn to use those tools more effectively. The workshops are free, and they’re designed and run by skilled individuals from the community or partner organizations.
CERAMIC TILE WORKSHOP – SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2015, FROM 10am to NOON
at THE HISTORIC KENTON FIREHOUSE

Folks, if you’re thinking of doing a tile project this year, bone up on or learn the basics in our free Ceramic Tile Workshop. Tile veteran Gerry will be covering everything from tiling tools to cutting tile, patterns, adhesives, grouting, sealing and more. Seating is limited for this free workshop, so be sure to get your tickets today at Eventbrite.
Facebook: Please consider becoming a “fan” of the North Portland Tool Library on Facebook. We have found it easiest to communicate our upcoming workshops there. We’ll also post them here and on the calendar, but we’ve found Facebook to be the most effective for getting the word out. It’s also an easy way for you to stay connected with the most up-to-date information from us. http://www.facebook.com/pages/North-Portland-Tool-Library/129473544092
